The team has practiced at Carrington in preparation for Man Utd’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich.
In preparation for their Champions League start against Bayern Munich, Raphael Varane and Mason Mount have both returned to Manchester United’s practice facility.
The French defender has missed United’s last two games due to injury, but it appears that he will play this upcoming midweek against Germany. After missing the previous three games due to a recent injury, Mount was also seen returning to training.
Varane’s return to training is a huge relief for United at this time, when they are dealing with a persistent injury crisis that has practically their whole starting lineup out injured. Following the weekend loss to Brighton, Aaron Wan-Bissaka became the most recent player to be sidelined for a period of weeks due to a hamstring injury.
However, Sofyan Amrabat, who has yet to make his professional debut, is unlikely to play against Bayern after being seen working out alone away from the rest of the team. A coach and a fellow midfielder, Kobbie Mainoo, 18, were seen working out apart from the rest of the first-team group.
Tuesday afternoon, before manager Erik ten Hag and a player address the media in a press conference in Munich, the traveling squad is anticipated to be announced.
