The Manchester United training squad against Bayern Munich has been announced in advance of the Champions League match.

On Tuesday morning at Carrington, Man United athletes practiced in front of the cameras.

As part of their preparation for Wednesday night’s UEFA Champions League group stage match against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, Raphael Varane and Mason Mount have trained with Manchester United’s first-team squad.

Varane has been sidelined for United’s last two games with an undisclosed ailment, and Mount has been sidelined for the past three games with a muscular issue. Due to their absences and other injury concerns, manager Erik ten Hag has recently been forced to rearrange his squad.

But on Tuesday morning at the club’s Carrington training camp, they both participated in an open training session with the rest of their teammates in front of the media. A total of 23 players took part in the main session, but Kobbie Mainoo and Sofyan Amrabat, who recently joined the club on loan, trained separately and underwent individual fitness tests.

On Tuesday afternoon, United will leave for Munich in an effort to avenge back-to-back 3-1 losses to Arsenal and Brighton & Hove Albion. The Reds were defeated by the Seagulls on Saturday at Old Trafford, falling behind 3-0 until Hannibal Mejbri scored a consolation goal.

The 23-man group that practiced on Tuesday morning featured Radek Vitek, Ethan Williams, and Omari Forson in addition to Hannibal, who is a young player. The four players were not included in the club’s 25-man squad that was published earlier this month, therefore they will likely be added to United’s “B List” before the match in Germany.

Senior athletes including Andre Onana, Diogo Dalot, Bruno Fernandes, and Marcus Rashford trained on Tuesday. Along with Mount, summer acquisitions Altay Bayindir, Sergio Reguilon, and Rasmus Hojlund also took part.

Confirmed United training squad ahead of Bayern Munich trip: Andre Onana, Altay Bayindir, Radek Vitek, Diogo Dalot, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Jonny Evans, Sergio Reguilon, Scott McTominay, Casemiro, Mason Mount, Christian Eriksen, Bruno Fernandes, Ethan Williams, Hannibal, Omari Forson, Alejandro Garnacho, Facundo Pellistri, Marcus Rashford, Rasmus Hojlund, Anthony Martial.
