Lisandro Martinez of Manchester United is still concerned about Argentina’s choice.

The Man United defender missed the game against Arsenal due to a foot injury, therefore he has been traveling with Argentina.

Lisandro Martinez missed the previous game against Ecuador and was left off Argentina’s matchday roster for their 2026 World Cup qualifier against Bolivia on Tuesday.

The defender hasn’t played since leaving Manchester United’s 3-1 loss to Arsenal in the second half due to a foot injury, but he did participate in practice while on international duty.

Due to upcoming games against Brighton and Bayern Munich, his availability for United is now in question. Victor Lindelof captained Sweden in both of their Euro 2024 qualifying matches despite Raphael Varane’s ongoing injury, having recovered from the illness that forced him to miss the match against Arsenal.

Harry Maguire of England and Jonny Evans of Northern Ireland both successfully completed the international break. Another potential center-half candidate, Luke Shaw, is currently injured.

On Monday, Martinez posted a photo to Instagram with the caption “ready for what’s coming” showing him leaving for Argentina training. Head coach Lionel Scaloni suggested earlier this week that the defender didn’t have a serious problem.
