When does Mason Greenwood debut for Getafe? The forward owned by Man Utd will make his first appearance on this date since January 2022.

Getafe is apparently planning to give Mason Greenwood his debut right away after getting him on loan from Manchester United.

Since January 2022, the 21-year-old hasn’t participated in a competitive game.

He had been detained on allegations of attempted rape, assault, and coercive control at that point, and United had suspended him.

In February 2023, those accusations were dismissed, allowing Greenwood to resume his professional career.

After a protracted internal inquiry, United came to the conclusion that he had no place at Old Trafford.

Eventually, a relocation to Spain was made, and Greenwood took on a totally new challenge.

He may now receive his Getafe bow in a La Liga match against Osasuna on September 17, according The Sun.

That outlet was reportedly informed by a source that “the coaching staff have been impressed with his sharpness and plan to throw him in as soon as they can.”

Through 2025, Greenwood is still bound to a contract with United.

The Premier League team is paying for his lodging in Spain, as well as a translator and frequent visits from family and friends.

In 129 games for United, Greenwood scored 35 goals. He also earned one senior international cap for England.
