Possible revenue from Man United’s ‘advanced talks’ with a US company to replace TeamViewer as shirt sponsor

Man United is making preparations to replace TeamViewer as their new front-of-shirt sponsor beginning with the 2019–2020 season.

The Red Devils and Qualcomm, a US technology corporation, are in early negotiations over this, according to The Athletic.

They are hoping to reach an agreement that will allow them to receive about £60 million from the corporation each year.

Given the volume of shirts already sold, it is almost doubtful that Qualcomm will take effect this season even if a deal is reached.

The Red Devils and Qualcomm already work together, and this season, Old Trafford’s mobile connectivity has been enhanced thanks to Qualcomm’s subsidiary brand Snapdragon.

TeamViewer and Man United have a collaboration that generates revenue of about £47 million annually, although the company has been attempting to terminate the agreement for some time.
