A new revelation by Sir Jim Ratcliffe about the ownership of Manchester United
As he waits for information on the sale, INEOS founder Sir Jim Ratcliffe has acknowledged that losing the bid to acquire Manchester United is not an option for him.
Ratcliffe is one of the two candidates in the running to purchase the Reds after the Glazers announced a “strategic review” in November. At the time, this study was understood to include the possibility of a full sale as one of the possible futures for the club’s ownership.
Ratcliffe is rumored to have approached the American family following the news with an offer for roughly 60% of United. Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, who is offering a 100% buyout, is a fierce competitor, nevertheless.
