Fans are concerned that Ten Hag may be another Weghorst after he “identifies” a countryman to replace Antony and Sancho.

In light of the uncertainty surrounding the futures of Antony and Jadon Sancho, Man United is considering a move for free agent Anwar El Ghazi.

The Brazilian forward has been instructed to avoid the Old Trafford club until further notice as the assault claims are being looked into.

Meanwhile, Sancho and Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag are no longer on speaking terms, and it is expected that Sancho will want to leave in January.

But following Ten Hag’s recent bet with Wout Weghorst, United supporters are not happy with the El Ghazi rumor.

Zevasko: “It’s worse than the Weghorst loan to bring in El Ghazi. He won’t do anything other than set time limits on other players’ games. It’s a joke, club.

Honcho: “After making me watch Weghorst last season, he’s going to make me watch El Ghazi. Leave my club, man, your sh*t.

“I’d rather play with ten men than have an El Ghazi as my starting RW,” said a cynical Sancho. It truly is the return of Weghorst.

El Ghazi would be this club’s demise; that would be worse than Weghorst, said Ryan.

“Weghorst last season, El Ghazi this season,” said Chinedum Awa. Man, I’m worn out.

El Ghazi left PSV Eindhoven of the Eredivisie last week by mutual consent, becoming a free agent.

The former Aston Villa player was spotted at Emirates Stadium witnessing the Red Devils’ final Premier League match before the current international break versus Arsenal.
