Before Brighton, Lisandro Martinez gives Manchester United a boost due to an injury

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has been concerned about the center back’s health since he was forced to leave the game against Arsenal due to injury.

Lisandro Martinez, a center back for Manchester United, has made hints that he is back to full health ahead of Saturday’s match against Brighton & Hove Albion.

After Martinez collapsed against Arsenal before the international break, Erik ten Hag and the United faithful have been keeping an eye on him. The defender has a foot problem, the Reds manager claimed following the encounter.

Martinez was healthy enough to travel with Argentina for their international matches, which was good news for United, but he was sidelined against Ecuador out of caution. The choice was made, as Lionel Scaloni, the head coach of Argentina, explained to the media: “Licha, as you know, has a problem with his feet. He was in pain during Arsenal’s last game against Manchester United and left the field (was substituted) out of caution. He is healthy after studies were conducted.

Martinez did not play at all against Ecuador, which raised questions about whether or not the defender would need to miss some time. But on Sunday, the center back allayed any concerns about his fitness in an Instagram post.

Along with the words “Ready for what’s coming,” he included an emoji of Bolivia. On Tuesday at 9 p.m. UK time, Argentina plays Bolivia in a World Cup qualifying match.

Additionally, Martinez included a photo of him in the gym, indicating that he might play for his nation. A defensive injury problem is now affecting Ten Hag as Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw, and Raphael Varane are all undergoing treatment at Carrington.

When Brighton comes to play at Old Trafford this weekend, United will resume its Premier League schedule. In their first four games, the Reds had two victories and two losses.
