LIVE transfer rumors for Manchester United Updates on Sofyan Amrabat’s injuries and Jadon Sancho’s status

The MEN’s live blog allows you to follow Man Utd news throughout the day.

For Manchester United, this week has been rather eventful. Seven days have passed since Jadon Sancho publicly disputed Erik ten Hag’s selection of him for the matchday squad against Arsenal owing to his performance in training.

Sancho asserts that he has served as a “scapegoat for a very long time,” but MEN Sport has been informed that Ten Hag stands by his remarks. The first United player to address the topic was Victor Lindelof.

He asserted that the United team is a close-knit bunch that is unaffected by outside noise and described the locker room as being “calm.” Lindelof, who left the game against Arsenal feeling unwell, began for Sweden in their victory over Estonia at Euro 2024 on Saturday.

Harry Maguire, a fellow Reds center-back, played the first complete 90 minutes of th

In England’s 1-1 draw with Ukraine last night, it had been time since the final day of the previous campaign. Marcus Rashford was a substitute.

If the winger is unable to resolve his issues with Erik ten Hag, Borussia Dortmund is considering making a move for Jadon Sancho in January, according to The Sun.

Sancho and the manager have a falling out over his apparent subpar performance in training.

The Dortmund management team is reportedly keeping a close eye on the situation and may propose to take the winger on loan at some point during the campaign.

In their Euro 2024 qualification campaign, Harry Maguire was pleased to accept a “important point” following last night’s 1-1 draw in Poland against Ukraine.

The United defender played 90 minutes, while Marcus Rashford, a fellow Red, came off the bench after 65.

According to Football Insider, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are vying for the services of Donny van de Beek in the closing hours of their respective transfer window.

Manchester United has informed the midfielder that he is free to depart and that he is not in Erik ten Hag’s plans. Real Sociedad expressed interest earlier in the window, but no deal was made.

With the majority of windows in Europe already closed, Van de Beek is left with very few choices. There might yet be a possibility for him to play first-team football, though.

If Joao Palhinha joins Bayern Munich in the January transfer window, Fichajes claims that Fulham may rekindle their interest in Scott McTominay.

On the day of the transfer deadline, Palhinha appeared ready to join the German champions, but a deal fell through. The Cottagers couldn’t find a replacement and didn’t want to lose the Portuguese midfielder.

According to this source, Fulham will reapply for McTominay if Bayern does the same for its star player. In the summer, United debated selling the 26-year-old but ultimately opted against it.

Martin Dubravka and Bruno Fernandes reunited earlier this week while serving as teammates for their respective countries, and the former United player says it was “good to see” him.

In a 1-0 victory over Slovakia on Friday night in Bratislava, Fernandes scored the game-winning goal after slaloming through the defense of his opponent and firing a shot beyond Dubravka.

Nevertheless, Dubravka posted two photos of himself with Ronaldo and Fernandes on his Instagram, expressing how much he liked seeing them again. “Nice to see a good old friends,” he wrote.

“Always good to see you mate,” Fernandes retorted.

According to ESPN, Donny van de Beek has been informed by United that he probably won’t see much action this year.

The midfielder hasn’t played for the Reds in a competitive match since January, when he suffered a season-ending knee injury against Bournemouth in United’s first 2023 match. He underwent surgery to address his condition, but he recovered in time for preseason.

In the club’s second summer friendly against Lyon, the Dutchman scored, but he did not perform well in future games. As a result of the signings of Sofyan Amrabat and Mason Mount, both of whom are now out due to injuries, his playing time appears to be limited.

Sofyan Amrabat was removed from the team as a precaution after the Manchester United midfielder “felt something,” according to Morocco’s head coach, Walid Regragui.

Amrabat was a member of the Moroccan team that competed in the Africa Cup of Nations qualification matches against Burkina Faso and Liberia. United, though, acknowledged on Friday night that the midfielder had been hurt amid reports of the injury.

Amrabat would return to Carrington for evaluation and treatment, according to a statement on United’s website.

Victor Lindelof insists that the Manchester United team maintain its composure in the wake of the public spat between manager Erik ten Hag and colleague Jadon Sancho on training intensity.

The Sweden captain claimed there is still a positive vibe at the club despite the season’s bad start as he spoke ahead of his nation’s Euro 2024 qualifier with Estonia. He described the dressing room as tight.

Just hours after Ten Hag disclosed the reason the player was left off the team that lost 3-1 to Arsenal last Sunday, Sancho turned to social media to defend his training efforts and claim he’s being used as a “scapegoat.”

Keep checking back for more on Manchester United throughout day Sunday.
