As Sofyan Amrabat withdraws from the Moroccan squad, Manchester United suffers an unfortunate setback.

Man United’s first four Premier League games have seen them win two and lose two.

Manchester United is one of the Premier League’s early underachievers after four games in the new campaign.

The campaign got off to a mediocre start with two victories and two losses, but the points against Wolves and Nottingham Forest hid some weak performances. The Reds played well against Tottenham for 45 minutes before losing, whilst Arsenal defeated them late in a game where the Gunners dominated the crucial moments.

Erik ten Hag came out swinging following the Emirates loss, complimenting his team’s performance and bemoaning crucial choices. But despite his statements, his team’s actions continue to beg the question. Yes, United had some good moments, but this setback is the second straight loss on the road, following a troubling pattern from the previous campaign.

The next opponent is Brighton, another top-half team that will raise challenging issues. The solutions have not yet been found by United and Ten Hag.

The boss reaffirmed his conviction that personality will be important when he was quoted earlier this season.

“We need to improve on the road in order to earn more points. This is one of our season-long goals. So, personality is frequently involved,” he noted prior to the game against the Spurs.

Last season, United gave up much too frequently after going behind. They have made some progress in that area, and Rasmus Hojlund’s arrival should provide them the necessary work rate in the offensive third of the field this season. Additionally, there have been early indications of a more durable framework.

There is optimism for the challenges that lie ahead if United can improve their away day mentality and find the kind of success that instills confidence. Sofyan Amrabat can assist shore up the team even more.

However, for present, there is no known solution to United’s travel sickness issue.
