Before the September 7 transfer deadline, 10 European players, including Mohamed Salah and Paul Pogba, could still transfer to the Saudi Pro League.

Teams in the Saudi Pro League have snatched up a number of great players from European teams this summer, and they’re not through yet either.

The footballing environment has changed over the past several months as a result of the Saudi Pro League’s emergence as a prominent player in the transfer market. There will probably be more big signings because clubs can still sign additional overseas talents before the deadline of September 7.

There are a lot of well-known players in Europe who are still out of favor and in search of a new challenge, even if several of them were able to make last-minute transfers on deadline day.

The Turkish Super Lig has typically been the fallback option in cases like this, but Saudi Arabia is currently all the rage. 10 moves that could still happen before the SPL window closes at 10 p.m. (BST) are listed below by backfc.

The claims tying Mohamed Salah to Al-Ittihad simply won’t go away, no matter how many times Jurgen Klopp states that he is staying. Despite having previously had a £150 million ($189 million) bid for the Liverpool player rejected, the Saudi champions reportedly have no problem breaking the transfer price record.

The price being offered would have to be unimaginably high for the Reds to sell. Would it really be worth it, even if they did get a proposal this outrageous? Selling Salah when it’s impossible to find a replacement would be a fatal blow to Liverpool’s chances of winning the Premier League. Al-Ittihad will strike back in January if they are unable to reach an agreement before the deadline in the summer.
