As Carrie Jones departs to Bristol City, Manchester United loses another brilliant young player.

Carrie Jones, 20, has successfully transferred from Man United to fellow WSL team Bristol City.

As brilliant youngster Carrie Jones signs with fellow WSL team Bristol City, Manchester United has permitted another young player to depart the organization.

The newly promoted team and the Welsh star have agreed to a three-year contract. Jones joined the Reds in 2020 to play for the U21 team, but nine months later, in the 88th minute of a 3-0 FA Cup victory over Aston Villa, she made her senior debut.

That same year, she agreed to her first professional contract. Over the course of her two seasons with the team, the youthful talent earned 10 appearances while donning a United jersey, five of which were in the WSL. However, for the 2022–23 season, manager Marc Skinner loaned the kid to Leicester City.

She immediately left her imprint on the Leicester club and played in the first game of the 2022–23 season, albeit in a close 2-1 loss away to Tottenham Hotspur.

Jones had a tense season as the Foxes narrowly avoided relegation by five points. The forward participated in 19 league games, starting 15 of them, and scoring twice.

She additionally participated on a number of occasions for her nation in Women’s World Cup qualifiers. She has 20 appearances for Wales thus far, scoring twice.
