Roy Keane is perplexed by Jonny Evans’ comeback and says, “He left seven years ago because Man United didn’t think he was good enough.”

The players coming on against Arsenal, Harry Maguire, they’re trying to move him on, Roy Keane remarked on Sky Sports on Sunday.

“Jonny Evans, too. Although Jonny is someone adore, he left Manchester United seven or eight years ago because they didn’t think he was good enough. He will appear today. They have lot of injuries, so we’re looking at Rasmus Hojlund, the new striker who entered the game today. You can tell Anthony Martial didn’t do much by looking at him. Eight years after leaving Man United, Evans, who was demoted from the Premier League with Leicester City last season, returned this summer. The 35-year-old center back earned his second appearance in Sunday’s 3-1 loss at Arsenal after signing one-year contract.
