Erik ten Hag, manager of Manchester United, comments on the acquisition of Sergio Reguilon and the prospects of Sofyan Amrabat.

In contention to make his Man Utd debut against Arsenal is Sergio Reguilon, who has already arrived at Carrington.

Sergio Reguilon may make his Manchester United debut against Arsenal on Sunday after already practicing with his new teammates.

Reguilon, a left back, has joined United on a season-long loan from Tottenham Hotspur. On Friday morning, he practiced with his new colleagues.

Altay Bayindir, a brand-new goalkeeper, has also been registered in time to go with the team.

Ten Hag responded, “Potentially, yes,” when asked if newcomers would be available for this weekend’s game. “It might be that we need to register them by this point.

Reguilon is in this place; he trained. He has a ton of experience, has played for storied organizations, and has seen action in numerous La Liga and Premier League contests.

He has a superb history and a fierce football game, therefore we are pleased. Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia’s injuries, which will keep them out for a while, were a headache for us, but we handled the emergency situation admirably.

“I’m glad to hear that he will be joining the squad as well. Now that the group is present again in complete, we must maintain it. We’ve covered every position, and I believe our arriving group in Altay is a pretty strong one.

Fiorentina and United are in talks over a Sofyan Amrabat loan transfer, but the Italian club is holding out for a €10 million loan fee.

When asked about the Morocco international, Ten Hag was evasive. There are a lot of rumors, but it’s still good, right?

“We’ve done well commercially, built a formidable team, and are prepared to engage in combat. I’m unable to tell because I’m unsure about his signing ability. As soon as we have news, we will let you know.

“The season takes longer if you look at the calendar; it’s challenging and incredibly compressed when compared to previous season, the World Cup, and the wild season.

“Two weeks, we played the FA Cup final for an extra week, we had a brief break, then we had another incredibly rushed preseason. Although you also need quality, we need numbers.

We are pleased with the situation since we have a strong group of players that can operate in a number of systems. We are prepared to start the battle.

“Bayindir? We closely watched him and intensely scouted him because we believe he possesses the abilities to fit in at Man United and in English football in general. I’m really happy we signed him.

We have every faith that he will advance significantly over the next months and years and significantly improve our game.
