According to Fabrizio Romano, Man City wants £45 million for Cole Palmer in order to “advance negotiations.”
Chelsea had first offered £35 million, but the Citizens flatly rejected it.
Only this morning did the 21-year-old become a target for Chelsea, with Joe Shields acting as their director of recruitment.
It’s believed that Mauricio Pochettino approved of the arrangement. Palmer would be happy to relocate to the Bridge.
