As the Crystal Palace move is official, Dean Henderson sends a heartfelt message to Manchester United.

Dean Henderson, a recent academy graduate from Manchester United, has been transferred to Crystal Palace of the Premier League.

For an undisclosed sum, Dean Henderson has left Manchester United and joined Crystal Palace.

After making his club debut, the 26-year-old advanced through Old Trafford’s renowned academy system and went on to play 29 matches for the team across all competitions. The England goalkeeper, who spent the previous campaign on loan with Nottingham Forest in the Premier League, is about to face a new challenge.

Forest wanted to bring Henderson back on a permanent basis, but the Midlands club decided to make Matt Turner their starting goalie instead. With just one day left before the window closed, the Eagles have finally clinched a move for Henderson after Palace moved in.

When Wolves visit Selhurst Park on Sunday at 2 p.m., Henderson might be inserted right into the Palace lineup for his debut. Henderson said of the move to the Palace website: “I’m absolutely delighted and buzzing to be here.”

“I can’t wait to start,” he continued. This team features many talented players who are eager to achieve, as well as fantastic fans. I genuinely want to be a part of whatever is being built here.
